In the past, recording a song is an expensive thing. Only the rich musician who can record the song in the music studio. The recording process spend much time in the past. We should record one by one instrument and then combine it into one song. The first recording is the rhythm instrument like guitar or bass to make the constant tempo, and then drum, melody, and the last is voice. The result be mixed then to get the great sound.

By the technology development, common people can record the song by themselves. It is called as the home recording. The process is the same, but you use the personal computer to mix it. The amplifier and mixer is came from the software in a computer. Then you can get the right sound you want like professional recording.

Nowadays, the technology is increasing so the style of recording also increasing. You can record the music by live recording. It means that all instrument in a band are played together. The advantages is you can feel the real sound by this kind of recording. It can be done in a studio or in a live concert
