The rhythm machine is the pioneer of drum machine. The function of
both is almost the same that is to create the beat or tempo in certain sound. In
the year of 1976, that was a rhythm machine from KORG called Mini Pops 120. It was
also known as Univox SR-120. This kind of music instrument has the small size.

always used by the musicians in the tour performance. The material is from Tolex
road case or wooden. The design is in a brown small cabinet to give a sense of
durability.
It has the 6 analogue
sounds and 16 preset of rhythm. There is limited ability of Mini Pops since the
aim at that time is only to make a beat in a performance, without record or
save the sound. The simplicity makes its sound so nice with flabby kick drum and
snare drum of whacked-out.

that time was £340 but now it’s only £100-250.
