In early years of when the drum machine was found. The use of
this kind of music instrument is only for hip hop music where the tempo or beat
are constant from the beginning until the end of song. On the recent decade,
the pop and rock music also use this kind of instrument.
In the hip hop music, the function of drum machine is giving the
beat and the additional unique sound. Usually the player also have a role as
the disc jockey (DJ). In the hip hop music it is the main instrument, whereas
the pop or rock genre, its function is to replacing the drum.
The blending sound among drum machine and vinyl or turntable which is used by DJ creates the various beat on the DJ performance. The combination both music instruments are the necessity to all of DJ in the world since, it makes a great creation of hip hop music. Almost every night in the big city, we hear the music on the club. at that time, the use of drum machine was raising. The beat are echoing our ear.
In many countries, the drum machines are used for the recording.
In making of song, we only push a button to play a drum, and then switch the another
button to get the other sound of drum.
