One part of drum kits is bass drum. The bass drum is played
by the pedal. You should use your foot to play the bass drum. in all music
genre, the constancy of bass drum is important. It need more practice to play
the bass drum when your music need the fast tempo.
There is one kind of drum stuff, called double pedal to ease
you in a fast speed of tempo. It is played simultaneously to get the right
sound. you should use your two feet to play double pedal. Right and left should
play simultaneously.
In recent years, there is one kind of double pedal, where one
step of pedal is resulting two beat. Therefore, when you stamp your right foot
and left foot in one note, it produce 4 beat. It improves the speed of the bass
drum.
The double pedal is used also in the blast technique to make
the great sound of drum. The black and death metal usually use this technique. If
you have the double pedal, you can make a variation of sound by yourself.
