Autodidact or Not? It's up to You

Learning by doing or also called autodidact or self-taught is a kind of practice in which someone are learning by his/herself. In this case, someone is learning without a teacher or tutor. Practicing music instrument like guitar and drum also can be applied by using autodidact.

Each method of practice guitar or drum has their own advantages and disadvantages. The advantages of learning by doing or autodidact are you can improve your own feeling without any border. Besides, you can feel the real soul of music since you should understand the instrument and all its parts. By autodidact, you can explore more rather than by using teacher. The disadvantage of using this method is you don’t know the basic concept of playing a certain instrument. However, this can be solved by reading in the internet or books of how play the basic music.

In other side, the method of using tutor or teacher let you know the basic concept of playing guitar, drum, bass, keyboard, etc. therefore, in the future, when you improve your skill, there will be on the line and in the right track.

You can practice in both methods. It is according to you to choose the method. There is lots of information about how to begin plating a certain instrument. The development of technology offers us to improve our experiments of playing music. The drum machine, electronic drum, keyboard, synthesizer, electric guitar, bass guitar, etc. are the instruments you can play.
